Abstract

Fear is an emotion used in propaganda as a tool of social control and political domination. This study analyses this emotion in the Andalusian elections of 2018, as they were the preamble to the electoral cycle experienced in Spain in 2019, which changed the political context. A technique of quantitative data collection (content analysis) is applied to the electoral debate, obtaining interesting results and conclusions such as the use of the technique of “creation of the enemy”.
