Authors

Abstract

This study analyzes the evolution in the use of Twitter as a communication channel in emergency situations by institutional, media and journalistic profiles. The cases investigated using a mixed methodology are the Spanish health crises of Ebola (2014) and Listeriosis (2019). It is concluded that Twitter served in both crises to spread, above all, emotional messages.
